Purpose of this Site:
If you've had family or friends that were lost during the Battle of Okinawa this is the site for you to request a rubbing of the name. Volunteers from the U.S military bases on Okinawa will make a trip to the Peace Memorial Park and retrieve rubbings of names carved into marble.
