Merchant Marines
This noble service has dedicated their lives to transporting food, ammunition, and most importantly the soldiers to the battle and back home. During the 5 months in the water around Okinawa, 27 Merchant Marine vessels where damaged. Here is the list of those that was lost or damaged due to combat action.
