An absolute Must Read. At the Memorial Museum in the corner of the "Personal Testimonies Room" is two small three ring binders that have translated personal accounts of the battle described by the residents of Okinawa. These accounts are quite descriptive and are more than a little disturbing. It has had a profound effect on the way I view the battle. Please take a moment and read a couple personal accounts. The pictures are all high resolution, so after clicking on a picture, click on view full size.
